On April 14,2025 at approximately 7:00 am I the USDA consumer safety inspector was performing a PHIS Livestock Humane Handling observed the following deficiency. While performing this task I observed 4 head of cattle at the holding pen #2 without any water available. I immediately contacted QA Supervisor and informed him of the non-compliance report will be generated. An establishment employee then provide water to the 4 head of cattle on the holding pen. At approximately 7:06 am I reinspected the water tank it was clean and full of water. This action is in direct violation of the following regulation 313.2(e) Animals shall have access to water in all holding pens and if he longed than 24 hours access to feed. There shall be sufficient room in the holding pen for animals held overnight to lie down. This no-compliance has not been associated with any other NRs.
