On 12/11/2024 at approximately 1002 a.m. while performing a Humane Handling Task. I observed the following noncompliance. I observed an employee of Eden View Farms transporting a lamb from the holding area into the operations building, at which time the employee grasped the back leg and proceeded to drag the animal several feet before I was able to stop the action. I immediately alerted the employee, stopped the action and notified Mr. REDACTED of the forthcoming noncompliance report. The establishment failed to meet the requirements of the regulatory requirements of 9 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 313.2.

On 10/09/24 while performing a Humane Handling task, I observed the following noncompliance. I observed the animals contained within processing pen did not have any source of water. I informed Mr. REDACTED that animal are required to have access to water in all pens and if more than 24 hours, food must be provided as well. I informed Mr. REDACTED of the forthcoming noncompliance. The establishment failed to meet requirements of 9 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 313.2.
