On February 3, 2025, at approximately 07:00 I found the following non-compliance; As I was preforming ante-mortem inspection I noticed the waterer in alley pen A6 was empty and completely dry. The pen had approximately 24 head of cattle in it. I looked at the cattle sign in log and found that the cattle had arrived on February 2nd. The time that had arrived was unknown. I immediately notified the Barn Supervisor REDACTED and Barn superintendent REDACTED of the finding and the Non-compliance. The establishment took immediate corrective action and moved the cattle to a pen with water. They also notified maintenance and fixed the waterer. There was no further action needed. This is in non-compliance with 9CFR 313.2(e)
