According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April 2010, the United States not seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): Boston-Cambridge-Newton, MA-NH was 215.212 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 11.9%. The following item categories had the highest not seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in CPI-U:

  2. Food at home: 1.5%
