According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February 2020, the United States not seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): Boston-Cambridge-Newton, MA-NH was 236.936 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was -0.2%. The following item categories had the highest not seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in CPI-U:

  2. Motor fuel: 3.9%
