According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, New York added the highest number of jobs to all local government business establishments (17,413), followed by California (17,244), and Ohio (16,507).
On the other hand, Rhode Island added the least number of jobs (-261), followed by Mississippi (-201), and Illinois (-162).
