According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2022, Maryland added the highest number of jobs to all local government business establishments (1,834), followed by Alabama (526), and Indiana (510).
On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-34,716), followed by Ohio (-8,601), and Wisconsin (-6,188).
