United States Payroll Employment By State for All Local Government Business Establishments in March, 2022

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2022, California added the highest number of jobs to all local government business establishments (17,777), followed by Illinois (4,203), and Texas (3,912).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-1,817), followed by Ohio (-1,499), and Maryland (-1,212).
