According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government trade, transportation, and utilities industry (441), followed by New York (433), and Washington (379).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-712), followed by Georgia (-99), and South Dakota (-42).
