According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government trade, transportation, and utilities industry (739), followed by Texas (457), and Washington (315).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-33), followed by Missouri (-21), and New York (-15).
