According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government trade, transportation, and utilities industry (283), followed by California (265), and Minnesota (254).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-74), followed by Michigan (-52), and South Carolina (-16).
