According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government water, sewage and other systems industry (335), followed by California (210), and Pennsylvania (170).

On the other hand, Montana added the least number of jobs (-16), followed by North Carolina (-7), and Vermont (-1).
