According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the local government transit and ground passenger transportation industry (922), followed by North Carolina (443), and West Virginia (369).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-757), followed by Pennsylvania (-130), and New York (-97).
