According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government transit and ground passenger transportation industry (357), followed by Maryland (164), and Illinois (136).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-100), followed by North Carolina (-49), and West Virginia (-36).
