According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government transit and ground passenger transportation industry (544), followed by New York (542), and Illinois (164).

On the other hand, Indiana added the least number of jobs (-521), followed by Pennsylvania (-290), and Minnesota (-197).
