According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2020, Illinois added 26,219 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (7,921), followed by DuPage (2,302), and Williamson (1,397).
