According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Illinois added 755,619 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Illinois counties, McLean added the highest number of jobs (6,281), followed by DuPage (1,258), and Macon (909).
