According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, Illinois added 15,655 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (4,038), followed by DuPage (1,722), and Lake (1,315).
