According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Illinois added 12,731 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (3,985), followed by DuPage (1,302), and Kane (1,029).
