According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Illinois added 24,608 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (8,952), followed by DuPage (2,552), and Kane (1,596).
