According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Illinois added 17,963 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (4,829), followed by Will (2,075), and DuPage (1,843).
