According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2021, Illinois added 17,679 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Illinois counties, Cook added the highest number of jobs (9,733), followed by DuPage (1,476), and Kane (1,049).
