According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Illinois added -1,008 number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry. Among Illinois counties, Boone added the highest number of jobs (178), followed by Winnebago (162), and DeKalb (88).
