According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private forestry and logging industry (98), followed by Arkansas (30), and Alabama (28).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-420), followed by Washington (-260), and Michigan (-254).
