According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Mississippi added the highest number of jobs to the private forestry and logging industry (76), followed by Louisiana (54), and Kentucky (18).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-193), followed by Idaho (-130), and Oregon (-90).
