According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Kentucky added the highest number of jobs to the private transportation equipment manufacturing industry (2,327), followed by Michigan (1,305), and California (1,189).

On the other hand, Indiana added the least number of jobs (-1,018), followed by Virginia (-577), and Kansas (-341).
