According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, Washington added the highest number of jobs to the private transportation equipment manufacturing industry (990), followed by Alabama (620), and Texas (516).

On the other hand, Indiana added the least number of jobs (-1,440), followed by Michigan (-947), and Illinois (-572).
