According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Maryland added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (813), followed by Florida (501), and New Mexico (385).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-1,299), followed by California (-1,008), and Pennsylvania (-349).
