According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (1,155), followed by Massachusetts (435), and Pennsylvania (205).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-279), followed by New Jersey (-117), and Indiana (-68).
