United States Payroll Employment By State for The State Government Service Providing Industry in January, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the state government service-providing industry (1,133), followed by Idaho (889), and Arizona (467).

On the other hand, Massachusetts added the least number of jobs (-6,189), followed by Hawaii (-5,893), and Texas (-5,799).
