United States Payroll Employment By State for The State Government Service Providing Industry in June, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the state government service-providing industry (4,941), followed by North Carolina (3,730), and Massachusetts (3,000).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-8,394), followed by Georgia (-4,172), and Wisconsin (-3,833).
