According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the state government health care and social assistance industry (594), followed by Michigan (585), and North Carolina (440).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-839), followed by Kentucky (-453), and Massachusetts (-161).
