According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, South Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the state government health care and social assistance industry (1,265), followed by Wisconsin (168), and Maryland (118).

On the other hand, Colorado added the least number of jobs (-468), followed by New York (-419), and Mississippi (-352).
