According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 9.3% (sa) in April, 2013. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (25.2%), Colusa (20.1%), and Sutter (15.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (4.9%), San Mateo (5.1%), and San Francisco (5.3%).
