According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 11.9% (sa) in August, 2020. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (23.8%), Los Angeles (17%), and Kern (12.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Modoc (6.5%), Lassen (6.6%), and Trinity (6.8%).
