According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 8.4% (sa) in March, 2021. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (17.2%), Colusa (17.1%), and Plumas (13.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (5.4%), San Mateo (5.5%), and Santa Clara (5.7%).
