According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.8% (sa) in April, 2006. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cape May (8%), Cumberland (6.8%), and Atlantic (5.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Morris (3.4%), Somerset (3.5%), and Hunterdon (3.5%).
