According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 7.8% (sa) in April, 2021. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (17.2%), Lea (10.2%), and Taos (10%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2.9%), Harding (3.3%), and Union (4.1%).
