According to the FBI UCR data, in 2013, among Louisiana cities with a population of at least 10K, Opelousas had the highest Violent Crime Rate per 100K residents (1,809.16), followed by Alexandria (1,656.08), Bastrop (1,396.77), Hammond (1,244.92), and Monroe (1,044.62).
