According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 48,532 juvenile arrests made in the US for larceny theft offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (27.45K), followed by Black or African American (19.14K), and Asian (921).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 40,035 (82%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (31.57K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (8.47K).
