According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 7,236 juvenile arrests made in US metropolitan counties for larceny theft offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (3.81K), followed by Black or African American (3.27K), and Asian (130).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 6,283 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (5.06K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.23K).
