US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Forgery And Counterfeiting Offenses in 2020

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 22,559 total arrests made in the US for forgery and counterfeiting offenses. There were 17,093 total arrests made in All Cities; 4,244 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,222 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 9,273 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.

In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (18.7), followed by Group V - Cities (12.2), and Group III - Cities (11.2).
