According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 2,278 total arrests made in US suburban areas for arson offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (1.71K), followed by Black or African American (493), and Asian (40).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 1,862 (82%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (1.50K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (362).
