Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the citizen population for New Mexico was 1,879,520 and represented 93.36% of the total New Mexico population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest citizen population (598.36K), followed by Do�a Ana (176.26K), and Santa Fe (128.08K).

In terms of percentages, Mora had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (98.68%), followed by De Baca (98.59%), and Quay (98.50%).
