Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the citizen voting-age population for Colorado was 3,541,580 and represented 70.23% of the total Colorado population.

Among all Colorado counties, El Paso had the highest citizen voting-age population (441.63K), followed by Denver (414.14K), and Jefferson (401.36K).

In terms of percentages, Mineral had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (95.71%), followed by San Juan (90.60%), and Hinsdale (88.61%).
