Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the citizen voting-age population for Connecticut was 2,529,370 and represented 70.81% of the total Connecticut population.

Among all Connecticut counties, Hartford had the highest citizen voting-age population (633.84K), followed by New Haven (621.20K), and Fairfield (595.17K).
