Connecticut Citizen Voting-age Population By County in 2023 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the citizen voting-age population for Connecticut was 2,641,585 and represented 73.41% of the total Connecticut population.

Among all Connecticut counties, Capitol Planning Region had the highest citizen voting-age population (718.16K), followed by South Central Connecticut Planning Region (422.12K), and Western Connecticut Planning Region (421.41K).

In terms of percentages, Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.31%), followed by Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region (79.61%), and Northwest Hills Planning Region (78.63%).
