Among all Connecticut counties, Capitol Planning Region had the highest citizen population (910.04K), followed by Western Connecticut Planning Region (550.63K), and South Central Connecticut Planning Region (530.71K).

In terms of percentages, Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (97.97%), followed by Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region (97.13%), and Northwest Hills Planning Region (96.50%).
