Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Ohio was 902,495 and represented 10.48% of the total Ohio citizen voting-age population.

Among all Ohio counties, Cuyahoga had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (269.03K), followed by Franklin (156.18K), and Hamilton (141.62K).

In terms of percentages, Cuyahoga had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (28.14%), followed by Hamilton (23.89%), and Montgomery (19.58%).
