Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Ohio was 989,960 and represented 11.05% of the total Ohio citizen voting-age population.

Among all Ohio counties, Cuyahoga had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (267.49K), followed by Franklin (202.11K), and Hamilton (142.74K).

In terms of percentages, Cuyahoga had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (27.90%), followed by Hamilton (23.21%), and Franklin (21.36%).
